Qingdao airprt gets it's windows cleaned

Sitting in the airport on my way to Nanjing to see Juny, Andrew and
Charles. Getting the 2009 Sockwa line tweaked for prime time.
Skateboarding magazine in hand and thinking about those Hollywood
Nights.

Exciting year coming up. Lots of irons heating up. Cool people to the
left and right. A positive attitude that can't be stopped.

23 years to the day that my Dad has passed. Boy is he missed. What a
team we would have made. Well, at least he's here in spirit.

Just finished Dan Brown's Angels & Demons. Great book; thanks Cary.

Miss my Angel girl and my Goose.

Poise and Grace

Ava, you are a breath of fresh air. You are smart, creative, sweet,
beautiful, and can be anything your heart desires.

Nanjing - I love Nanjing

This was snapped on a beautiful bridge in Nanjing, after enjoying a
wonderful meal with Juny, Charles, and Andrew. Not to mention a few
bottles of ..........

China, here I come again.

So how do I get all this product made. I make it myself. NOT! I have
spent the last few years building strong relationships with several
different factories throughout China.

I snapped this picture of the New Beijing Airport the last time I
travelled through. Beautiful and well designed.

Acrylic magazine rack is available from Fuji Designs

Fuji Designs now has an Acrylic version of the successful Japanese
Wooden Magazine rack!

This is the culmination of an idea from Stephanie at NetShops, and a

continue to introduce new products that fit the brand message. Thanks
Stephanie!

Where is this bus going?

I was walking around the campus today and came across this "Old
School" School Bus. Just waiting for the opportunity to become alive
again. Maybe one day.

Ava learns to ride a bicycle!

Today is a HUGE day! Ava did it! She transitioned from a wooden
scoot bike to a real bicycle with no training wheels.

I am really proud of her. She did it with confidence and did great.

Skateboard Inspired Furniture - Bookshelves and Picture Frames

Here is my latest product offering for SkateLab Furniture

SkateLab Product Launch at Target.com

Hello all...I am on pins and needles about my latest endeavor. I had recently designed a line of Skateboard inspired furniture and accessories, and beleived that it was right up Target's alley. So, I had some help with proto-types, and photographed them in a nice setting, and pounded on the doors of the Giant...Target.

I called and harassed more people that I should admit, but finally got in touch with a buyer in Trends and someone who was open enough to listen for a few minutes. Thanks Dave!

That lead me to hop on the next plane for China, and be sure that I can find the appropriate manufacturer to make this product. I knew that China was the obvious choice, even though they've been in the news with regards to tainted product. I don't like stereotyping.

Working with China while living in the United States is certainly a challenge....but I love a good challenge. Anyway, my 1st container of SkateLab product arrived this past Wednesday night, and is currently in my Hollywood Warehouse, waiting, just waiting for people to see the stuff on Target.com and buy it up.

The quality is good to great, and the designs are top rate. I hope that you will get a chance to see it and possibly adorn your home with my product. I beleive in everything I design and make, and I know that comes across in the product.

You can view it on my website

http://www.skatelabfurniture.com

Thanks for listening.
